Vermont Meets
Open to public to allow any runners, coaches and a family of competing athletes to participate. Run on the same course - 5km (3.1M) as High School races.
This is one of the most beautiful cross country courses in New England, with views of Mt. Mansfield and Camel's Hump. It is a challenging course with rolling hills through mowed meadows and short wooded sections.
Starting and finishing on North Beach of Lake Champlain, the fast and flat course runs through city park, woods and on the Burlington Bikepath.
Perhaps the most spectator-friendly course in Vermont, U-32’s course winds through wooded trails and open fields, repeatedly bringing the runners back in front of the fans. Races begin early with opportunities for elementary runners as well as middle and high school athletes.
Wooded, very hilly trail starting and finishing at Thetford Academy and going through Thetford Hill State Park. It features a lower and an upper loop of about 2 km each. First and last kilometer mostly downhill. Steepest climes between 3rd and 4th kilometer.
The first mile of this course winds around the College athletic fields and then joins the Red Kelly Trail, which follows the perimeter of the College's golf course. Moderately rolling terrain with several steep hills. The surface of the course is grass, dirt, and wood chips, and is acknowledged by visiting coaches as one of the best in New England.
Missisquoi HS is a flat course with meadows and wooded trails. Run your season's fastest time.
Vermont high school runners compete in 3 divisions for VT Championship individual and team titles. This meet is also New England Championship qualifyer. |
