The mission of Burlington’s Expanded Learning Program is to foster the social and academic success of Burlington youth through quality programming in an environment that creates lasting connections with peers, adults and the community.
Burlington High School Expanded Learning provides a space for BHS students to explore interests, connect with each other and build skills. Free academic support and enrichment opportunities before and after school are offered to all BHS students. Participation can provide community service hours as well as GX evidence to be used in students’ PLPs. Programs begin and end on a rolling basis.
Weekly activities update emailed to all students on Mondays and shared during Monday Advisory.
If you have any questions/suggestions for programming or if you want to start an afterschool program yourself, please contact BHS Site Director Sheryl Haiduck at shaiduck@bsdvt.org.
