Attention seniors and senior families!
On December 17th from 6 PM – 7 PM, you are invited to join us for FAFSA Night in the BHS cafeteria!
Led by Mr. Soren Dews from VSAC and co-facilitated by BHS School Counselors, families will receive on-site help to complete the Federal Application For Student Aid (FAFSA). If you find yourself asking such questions as, “What is the FAFSA?” and “Why should I do it?”, then this is the event for you!
Any student considering attending a 2- or 4-year post secondary institution after graduation must complete this federal form in order to be billed for tuition or qualify for any type of financial aid. Please note: completing the FAFSA will require use of a chromebook/laptop and the social security numbers for both the student applicant and their parent(s)/guardian(s).
Ahead of this event, you are welcome to review of this advice from VSAC on budgeting for college and financial planning.
We’re here to support you each step of the way! Please let us know if you have any additional questions regarding these events or need additional support with your FAFSA.
WHAT: FAFSA Night – professional support with completing your/your student’s FAFSA application.
WHEN: December 17th, 6pm-7pm
WHERE: Downtown BHS (67 Cherry Street) Cafeteria
Thank you, we hope to see you there!
