You can take the SAT right here at Burlington High School!
BHS will be hosting the SAT on Saturday, November 7, 2026, for students who are interested in taking the college preparatory exam.
Why take the SAT? Some colleges consider SAT scores as part of their admissions process, and scores may also be used for scholarship opportunities. If you are considering college after high school, taking the SAT may be a helpful step.
How to Register: Students and families must register online directly through College Board. BHS cannot register students on their behalf. We recommend creating an account with your personal email address!
- Registration Deadline: Friday, October 23, 2026. Seats may fill up before the deadline, so we encourage students and families to register early if they plan to take the SAT at BHS.
- Registration Fee: Students and families are responsible for paying the $68 SAT registration fee unless they qualify for a fee waiver.
- Fee Waivers: Students who qualify for free or reduced-price lunch received an email sharing that they are eligible for an SAT fee waiver through their school counselor. Please reach out to your school counselor for assistance.
For registration instructions, test-day information, and other details, visit the College Board SAT website.
Want to prepare? Free SAT practice resources are available through Bluebook and Khan Academy.
If you have any additional questions, please reach out to BHS Director of Counseling, Allie O’Hara, at aohara@bsdvt.org.
