The mission of Burlington’s Expanded Learning Program is to foster the social and academic success of Burlington youth through quality programming in an environment that creates lasting connections with peers, adults and the community.
BHS Expanded Learning provides a space for students to explore interests, connect with each other and build skills. Free academic support and enrichment opportunities before and after school are offered to all BHS students. Participation can provide community service hours as well as GX evidence to be used in students’ PLPs. Programs begin and end on a rolling basis.
! ! ! New This Year: Registration will be required for students attending afterschool.
Please use this link: BHS Afterschool 24/25 Registration.
The form only needs to be completed once, even if you attend multiple programs this year.
A weekly Club and Activity Schedule is emailed to all students on Mondays and shared during Monday Advisory. Program Descriptions can be found here.
If you have any questions/suggestions for programming or if you want to start a club or activity yourself, please contact BHS Site Director Paul Jones at pjones@bsdvt.org.
