Burlington Technical Center & Center for Technology At Essex Visit Days
Students are able to visit programs at BTC and CTE on Monday, 2/8 & Tuesday, 2/9. Information and permission slips are available in Guidance. Tech programs require visits before applying. See your conselor for details, or visit www.burlingtontech.org or www.gocte.org.

Governor's Institutes of Vermont Applications are now available for the Governor's Institutes of Vermont. These are intense summer programs focusing on the Arts, Asian Cultures, Current Issues, Engineering, Math, Science and Information Technology. Get more information and applications at www.giv.org or pick up materials in the Guidance Office. Application Deadline: March 15th.
Community Service Opportunities Every BHS student is required to perform 10 hours of community service each year. Linked below are two lists of local non-profit organizations and other community groups looking for volunteers.

Burlington Police Dept. Visits On Tuesday's in January and February, the entire staff of the Burlington Police Department will be visiting BHS to familarize themselves with our buildings in the event of an emergency.
