Picture Retake Day is happening on Tuesday, October 8th at BHS.
You can pre-order pictures today on mylifetouch.com using your Student ID or Picture Day ID: EVTGMK49B.
*Please note: the Picture Day ID above will expire on 8/30. Purchased pictures and picture proofs will be delivered to the school in the following weeks. Each picture proof will have a new student ID for you to use to view and purchase pictures online through Lifetouch.com.

June 5th – Graduation Ticket pick up 2:15pm – 3:00pm for students with the last name A-L
June 6th – Graduation Ticket pick up 2:15pm – 3:00pm for student with the last name M- Z
June 6th-June 12th – Graduation ticket pick up in Main Office
May 30-June 11th – June YES Session – mandatory for graduation
June 12th – YES Presentation of Learning Day 9:00-1:05 (mandatory)
June 12th – Senior Class Meeting 1:20-2:00 pm in room 143 (mandatory), Cap and gown pick up, and last opportunity to pick up tickets (at the meeting)
June 13th – Graduation Rehearsal 9:00-11:00 am at Patrick Gymnasium (mandatory)
June 13th – Graduation – please arrive by 2:00 pm
Reminder for juniors registered for the SAT at BHS: please check your student email for your login and practice test information! The SAT is Friday, March 22, 2024!
While there is no school scheduled on this date for students, registered test takers will be permitted access to the building. Please review your email for personalized details regarding your arrival and departure from school.
Students receiving testing accommodations (i.e. extended time) should arrive on campus at 11 am; students sitting for the standard time administration should arrive by 12 pm. All tests should be finished no later than 3:30 pm.

PLEASE NOTE: Caps and gowns will be delivered to BHS in the Spring. Any additional items purchased (including tassels) will be delivered to your home address.

Do you want to be involved in creating an even more equitable, open, welcoming and successful school? Join our school’s Advisory Group and have a chance to give feedback on and shape the school’s work alongside administration, faculty and staff.
Advisory Groups are made up of representatives from all grade levels who meet with staff and on a monthly basis during the school year to discuss a variety of topics, share information, and broaden understanding of school-related issues.
**We will meet on the first Tuesday of every month from 6-7pm; our first meeting will be on November 7, 2023**

In 23/24 BSD is changing what counts as an excused absence. We are discontinuing the practice of accepting parental communication as the primary determinant of excused absences and using the guidance from the AOE regarding when an absence is considered excusable.
How does this effect parents and guardians when calling or emailing regarding attendance? With the new state regulations it is of the upmost importance that you include the reason for your student’s absence, tardiness, or early dismissal when leaving a voicemail or email. If the reasoning does not fall under the excused absences included below OR if no reason is provided the student is still considered absent unexcused.

The 2023-2024 school year is off to a great start with picture day happening on Thursday 8/31 and Friday 9/1. Students will have their picture taken in the HUB during their English class on either 8/31 or 9/1.
No English class at BHS on your schedule? No worries! The camera crew is set up in the HUB from 8:45am to 3:00pm on both days. They are happy to take your picture whenever you have the time to stop by!
